July 19 - Heading out of YT

Today we stopped for lunch at Big Creek Campground. Battled horseflies, black flies and mosquitoes. Short pit stop inWatson Lake and then on to BC. Up to today we’ve seen a gopher, porcupine and ravens but today along the Liard River we saw buffalo and black bears. Definitely not as much wildlife as when we came up.

    Very pretty landscape. Nice to see the bison...and the bear. Shame about all the flying bugs...such is life.
    Afraid to let you know that the mosquitos have come out in force back at home.
